What is Sugarbear Playhouse?
Sugarbear Playhouse is an indoor play area for children of all ages. There is no age limit, but toys are focused on ages six months to 7 years old. It is geared towards caregivers who need to take their child to get some energy out but in a safe environment with developmentally appropriate toys. It has a gated area for crawlers, sitters, and new walkers (ages six months- 18 months), and the open play area is focused on toddlers and children. It has dress-up clothes, areas for the imagination to run wild, and sensory-focused activities. Creativity will be able to flourish as the children shop for groceries, teach, cook, pretend, and much more. Sensory items focus on gross and fine motor skills demonstrated in a fun, energetic atmosphere. There is no infrastructure to climb on or electronics in this facility. There are two party rooms and a lounge where parents can overlook the child's area and have internet access to work or do school work. Parents cannot leave the facility at any time and have visual access to their children the entire time.
