Sugarbear Playhouse strives to create a fantastic experience for your family. Owner, Katelyn, is an Infant-Child Development Specialist and Recreational Therapist nationally certified and licensed by the Oklahoma Medical Board. In addition to unstructured play, fun events are conducted to provide a twist on interactive play.

​​Katelyn is a Proud Texan who moved to Bartlesville, Oklahoma, after meeting her husband, Tyler, in college.

She has a Bachelor of Science in Leisure Studies degree with an emphasis in Therapeutic Recreation from Oklahoma State University. She also has her Master's degree in Infant Child Studies and Child Development from the University of Central Oklahoma, specializing in child development.

Katelyn and Tyler have two beautiful children. Katelyn loves being in the pool or ocean, enjoys the outdoors, watching crime shows, Disney, and FRIENDS. She also enjoys listening to music, doing crafts, going on long walks with her kids in the stroller, and riding her bike.

Katelyn has a dream to make Sugarbear Playhouse a place for caregivers in Washington County and surrounding areas to create a space for children to play in a safe and contained environment.​
